![]() ![]() and your eyes can handle the dated graphics. ![]() In a nutshell, D2 is hardcore, somewhat, but can absolutely be enjoyed casually if you have the patience. ![]() I crapped my pants and i was soooo happy! It's not like i'm into trading or anything and i won't have a high tier runeword ever, but that doesn't kill the fun i have in D2 because i can just play it on my own pace and i never feel brickwalled by game mechanics (Hi greater rifts, it is great farming paragon to get 0.05% more dps to hope i can beat a level while i already have the best gear i can get unless i get a 0.01% upgrade of the same gear). I play D2 in bursts of a month of two every so often and i build a new character in single player (a muling tool is mandatory to save the good stuff you get or pass them from a character to the other) and i have fun, because i can feel the progress every level i gain and sometimes i get lucky, like when i got a Titan's Revenge for my Javazon while grinding levels and MFing Shenk in Act 5. Sure, it is hardcore compared to D3 because top tier loot is really rare, you can build a character completely wrong and have to remake it (you get a free respec per difficulty now and you can get more if you farm the materials from bosses, but you need to complete hell to farm them all), but if can be enjoyed casually pretty much, you just need to have the patience to slowly progress at your own pace. ![]()
